Dekerf Team ST | 105

Chris Dekerf was an established frame builder at the Canadian brand Rocky Mountain before striking out on his own as Dekerf Cycle Innovations.

The Team ST is an ultra-light frame made of TIG-welded Reynolds 853 tubing and bonded-in titanium chainstays. This "softtail" design provides about 20 mm of suspension travel in the rear, which is enough to take the edge off bumps, but perhaps more importantly aids significantly in climbing traction by keeping the rear wheel tracking the terrain more closely.
