DP Racing Escaper | 497
Damka Trading from Venray was one of the first companies in the Netherlands to seriously believe in the future of the mountain bike. In 1985, a series of high-quality bicycles with Columbus OR frames were introduced, under the DP Racing brand.
This bike was owned by Ruud van Roekel, chairman of Wielervereniging Ede (WVE) and promoter of mountain bike sport in the Netherlands.
The museum is working on returning this bike to its original condition.
